And so the fighting continues....

It is something we talk about EVERY.DAY. To acknowledge our feelings and discuss right away. Problem is, we have the same problems every day. It's a constant competition. Who's right and who's wrong. My hope is that one day my kids will rebel against me and actually like one another. I've read in books how the 3rd born takes on the role of mediator. I wasn't sure if that was Emma until the last few days. Yesterday, she looked at Claire and Megan and said "would you guys just IGNORE one another because you are starting to get annoying!" So funny. I've accepted it, now let me just get through another summer.

The girls are fantastic really. They work really hard at school and that makes me happy. I tell them that I do not expect perfection. I just want them to try their best and learn from every mistake. I love my girls even in the most stressful moments.

My little monkeys Claire and Meg are loving softball!!! And, Dan and I love going to the games. It has been great for Dan as he is helping out the coach and has been really involved with Claire's teams. I think maybe it brings back childhood memories of when I played or when I would go watch my dad play. Unlike soccer, I do not sit at the games hoping they'll end soon. Emma loves to play at the playground and hang out with the bigger kids while the sisters play. Emma still says she doesn't want to do anything except cheer. And, that she just doesn't want to sweat! ha!

All of the girls are still taking tumbling lessons from Tokki with their friend Eliza. Claire will now do backhandsprings on the grass outside and has got a pretty back tuck in the gym. Meg is getting stronger and stronger and is doing back handsprings by herself and Emm did her first one with no spotting on Tuesday of this week. They love going and I see in their eyes how proud they are of themselves. Makes me smile.

Below is Meg with her friend Kaitlyn. There are only 3 girls on the team and Meg got the game ball a couple weeks ago. She has hit the ball every time she has gone to bat for the last 3 games. I'm amazed at how quickly she caught on and actually watches the ball all the way through. Notice Meg's snaggle tooth. She just lost her 3rd tooth about a week ago. It was hanging on there pretty good for a long while and it kept bleading. Daddy finally took a wet paper towel and pulled it right out. Well, with a little help from Claire. Claire help her face open and I held down her arms!

Look at what we saw in our backyard on Easter morning! I told the girls it was pappa smith in heaven wishing us a Happy Easter!!!
